books, limbo, ninja, weight, troubles

You never thought these five things could ever appear together ehh.

I've finally finished all the books I've borrowed over the short break. I had two more to go: John Green's Looking for Alaska and Paper Towns.

Shows how far technology has come - I knew about John Green the Youtuber before I knew about John Green the writer. Hur. Logically speaking, shouldn't it be the other way round? But nothing is logical anymore ey.

His books are interesting. I would go so far as to compare him to a modern not-quite-at-his-level-but-on-the-way F. Scott Fitzgerald. And considering that The Great Gatsby is one of my favourite books, that is paying him a damn huge compliment.

These two books are actually written for youth, so I'm kinda a bit overaged (admitting to my not-so-youth for once hurrr) but I still enjoyed them. I recommend them!

It sucks being in limbo about things. I hate uncertainty. It is the cause of the messed-up-ness that was me this morning. Urgh. Messed up. Too many things to do. Don't know how to fit things nicely so that I can do all the things I want to do and not think about wrong things at wrong times.

The scald mark on my hand is healing. Writing is a bit of an issue though. The way I'm holding a pen now resembles how I would hold a calligraphy brush. And my handwriting is obviously not fantastic as a result. Lesson learnt from this incident: be careful when handling hot coffee nowadays. You never know when there's a ninja out to bump into you accidentally anytime, anywhere.

Y said that she thought I lost a lot of weight over the hols and asked if I was well. I was like, wahhhhh that's the best thing I've had since the year started teeheehee. And for the record no leh I don't think I have, and the last I weighed was at EE's house when I baked the biscotti and I still weighed the same as the previous time I weighed which was in November. Though I DID wonder how come it didn't increase when I have been eating quite good food over the holidays. Suddenly metabolism so good ah. Of course I'm not complaining. Keep it up, yo.

I shall sleep to take my troubles away. Though how to have restful sleep when I'm thinking of the troubles? Haiyo.

The name is Rui Qi (pronounced 'Ray Chee', yes 'q' has a ch- sound like that of 'church'). But I have also heard enough manglings of my name to respond to anything that you may wish to call, so you're in luck there.

The link is childish, I know. But it's stuck with me so long, I can't bear to change it.

If you're new here, I spell moi as mua, and pecah lobang as picha lobang. It's called poetic license.
