Lunch at Grandma's due to historical reasons. Spent the time talking with R biaojie, Big Uncle and laughing over what had happened the previous day with J. Hur. Picha lobang~~~

And J's company had a lucky draw for the hampers and she got both the worst and best hampers, with this being the best of course. Abalone wor!
Dinner! At Hotel Re!
Mussel, prawn, almond cookies all over, sushi all over, olive fried rice, pork thingy, tuna crepes, noodles, more almond cookies, shark's fin soup (I will eat if it's there but I will not specially go out of the way to eat it), fa cai, croquet. I think I am spoilt by Bar & Billiard Room's buffet already. I was just dreaming of it while I was there cuz it was much more spectacular than this. See la, this is why one should not get accustomed or even just acquainted with expensive places and food. *shakes head*
We all shared the shot glasses of jelly and all the kueh. Ate till nearly bursted. At one point I had 5 shot glasses lined up nicely cuz I just finished one after another. Was quite funny when the waitress had to clear it hahaha.
Yummmmmmm. Kuehhhhhhhhhh.

Haha I have no idea if this even makes sense, I remember being unable to explain clearly why spectacles get fogged after stepping out of the car in PSLE despite practising that question dunno how many times. Day 1.
This is the first new year I bumbled about with the humongo Sephora eyeshadow palette and realised that I was the last to get ready and fai tee grabbed and shoved things in my bag before leaving. Wah lau. Stress. I used the red bag the PPGs gave me for my birthday last year! Thanks babes! :)

These two were hawtstuff that day. They are going into the army in the next few days. We were like paparazzi taking multitudes of photos of/with them and touching them.

I captioned this "These are the two boyz that will go into army in a week's time and turn into MEN. *chey" The middle Z commented "SORRY ALREADY MEN." And the brother liked that comment. WAH LAU. After that it was my first time visiting a friend during CNY. And I just have to put it down on record cuz it's just too funny. I just knew last night that the mother said that after I wished her Happy New Year I was like a fairy who 飘来飘去 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ohmygod could not stop laughing saya is like not the skinny genteel ladylike guniang kind I cannot imagine 飘-ing around, more like 笨拙-ly (boy am I mixing English grammar with Chinese words, good job chooahqi) bumping into things la. I told Empress this morning, she laughed long and hard also, said it was probably cuz of the dress design - quite floaty and stuff. But still. 天啊~~ *wipes tear from eye*

Day 2.
Nothing exciting. As usual, people are bitter and will just complainnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn about everything single thing in the universe. They should go live on the moon.

We spent the afternoon watching two short Kungfu Panda CNY skits and Avatar for the second time hur.
There was homemade yusheng again like last year! Only the sauces were those prepacked kinds, all the ingredients were grated and chopped at home.
There was abalone also but at this point I took the picture too late, they were already covered by the bed of golden crackers. Wasted right. Oops. My timing is perfect.

I am increasingly liking this. Last time all I took were the crackers. I started eating a bigger lump last year, and this year heaped an even bigger lump. Yoohoo. And the abalone was damn nice manz. I told the brother. He also thought so. We were both like, adoi, our tastes getting expensive *shakes head*
Soup, dried oyster stew which if I'm not wrong Empress says is a Teochew thing, meat, fa cai which I no like but I still ate.

And my nephew whom I was playing with. This is the younger, the elder one was sleeping cuz he wasn't feeling too well.
The name is Rui Qi (pronounced 'Ray Chee', yes 'q' has a ch- sound like that of 'church'). But I have also heard enough manglings of my name to respond to anything that you may wish to call, so you're in luck there.
