3. Coin spoons from Ireland. (Click to see blog post and picture)

4. So frivolous but oh-so-pretty.

family ♡♡♡

family ♡♡♡

A continuation of this post.

I forgot that today is a public holiday and so I am actually entitled to rot my day away uploading posts instead of doing any killjoy stuff so YAY CHOOAHQI IS HAPPYGIRLZ89 laadeedums. And taking a breather from uploading photos to post something that came into my mind yesterday while I was changing history like Winston in George Orwell's 1984 like I mentioned in this post hur.

I tweeted last night,

Reading some of the blog archives. After all these years, family is really the only constant. Much ♡♡♡

Really, after all these years, the family has been there all the way. From my prepubescent and hence pre-bitchiness days, to when I was extremely bitchy, to now where I am past the bitchy stage but when the need arises it will still STRIKE.

At my worst, I was terrible to people who dared come against me. But I think I drew the line at the family. Partly cuz they were never the cause of anything major, partly because X has had a habit from young of suan-ing me until I'm super used to it and if she's too nice I will feel weird HAHAAA backhanded compliment much, and also partly cuz if I dared to be against anyone, I'm sure there will be ten other voices telling me to shut up and know where I stand.

And while I may have made noise when young cuz when you are young everything your parents do/say is ridiculously strict, I definitely appreciate all that now. It really takes growing up to understand all the stuff you were forced to do when you were younger. If I ever have children next time, oh dear I'm sure they will go through their own hate-me stage then oops. Maybe I can then refer them to this blog, to show them that see, mama last time also like this! And it's all recorded down! It can't be that I suddenly cooked up how many years' worth of entries! Heh.

All that strict upbringing of eating whatever is on your plate = eat almost everything and not as fussy now, not being able to eat fast food all the time and as a result I have not eaten A&W okay heh = not fat like how some of the kids are these days gawd I think I will get crushed by them, taking violin/piano lessons = at least got some sense of musical talent (I use this word loosely with reference to mine; not being humble, it's a fact - yes I can read notes and I can play, but not well), going for swimming lessons = if need to save my own life or someone else's by swimming I can, forcing us to read from young = now we devour books on our own and actively search for titles to read.

Vair grateful also for the cousins who are also confidantes - X and J less now than last time, and T now more than ever. :D They are like an extension of best friends but even better, cuz you share genes and so think alike in situations and understand the same stupid jokes and laugh at the same stupid things no one else will get. Let's shout in unison, "IT'S IN THE GENES!"

More pictures from the chalet that day from EE's and S biaosao's cameras - one of the best days of 2011, without a doubt.

The brother looks so happy here.

Girrrls!

Upstairs and downstairs - this was the context of the photo. We were pointing up to those on the roof, they were pointing down at us.

Best picture of the day - J the 'wind' was blowing us three away. Hahaha.

We all look so cuckoo and carefree. Likes x100000000000000000.

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ ☃ RUIQI ★♥♦♣♠
ruiqic26@gmail.com

Hello.

The name is Rui Qi (pronounced 'Ray Chee', yes 'q' has a ch- sound like that of 'church'). But I have also heard enough manglings of my name to respond to anything that you may wish to call, so you're in luck there.

The link is childish, I know. But it's stuck with me so long, I can't bear to change it.

If you're new here, I spell moi as mua, and pecah lobang as picha lobang. It's called poetic license.

Don't take what I say at face value. Don't read too much to things, either. If you read Chinese, 不要对号入座也别胡思乱想.

If you watch Youtube vloggers, on a scale of Charlie McDonnell to Alex Day, I am more on the Alex Day end.

I like witty. If you are witty, I like you already.

I am agnostic.

"Before you assume, learn the facts. Before you judge, understand why. Before you hurt someone, feel. Before you speak, think."
